About SBI FASTag

State bank of India has launched FASTag facility for its valuable customer. FASTag is a facility by which customer can pay their toll plaza payment directly from their account. FASTag is an initiative from SBI to provide Fastag to its customers. Fastag is an electronic device.

Customers can make payments with Fastag directly from their savings account with their State bank of India Saving account or prepaid account. When the user is traveling with their vehicle than customer can make payment via Fastag. It makes system hustle free and users don’t need to pay cash at Toll Plaza. Users need to Recharge/Top up the prepaid account from their state bank of India account.

In India, Fastag is compulsory. Every vehicle needs to use Fastag otherwise vehicle holders need to pay more toll tax. Fastag will make traffic movement fast and irregularity can be stopped at toll plaza. Fastag will be used for the collection of prescribed toll fee, using RFID technology. December 1, 2019, the FASTag will become compulsory.  there shall be no longer cash collection at toll plazas but in some cases, it is allowed with a penalty.

How to SBI FASTag Recharge?

• FASTag can be recharged with Netbanking Facility of State bank of India
  • Log in to your state bank of India account with your net banking username and password.
  • Now go to payment Tab
  • In Payment option, you will find Recharge account option
  • In this option select the FASTag account which you want to recharge
  • Select Payment mode as pay online, Recharge amount and your account from which the amount will be deducted
  • Now complete the process

• SBI FASTag Recharge with NEFT Process
  • Personally I don’t recommend this option. If you want to use follow below step.
  • Log in to your state bank of India account with your net banking username and password.
  • Now go to payment Tab
  • In the Payment option, you will find Recharge account option
  • In this option select the FASTag account which you want to recharge. Fill Recharge amount
  • Select Payment mode as NEFT and Generate Challan
  • Go to State bank of India branch and Pay the challan
• You can use your credit card and debit card to recharge your FASTag account.
